As steps towards reopening are being taken, we recognize how difficult this time has been on our residents. We’d like to highlight some important resources and initiatives that we have made available to keep our residents supported and well-informed.

Under listed resources we have included links to our national and provincial vaccine roll out campaign.  Use these links to help book vaccination appointments or for answers to frequently asked questions.

Enhanced Digital Services

We unveiled our new resident portal, which will feature a number of convenient digital services including the ability to pay your rent online, make maintenance requests, and book amenity activities.

In the spirit of community, we encourage you to check-in on your neighbours. A simple hello can go a long way to cheering someone up. Heading to the grocery store? Perhaps you can help your neighbour with an errand. Please share your ‘community stories’ here.  Together, we can help inspire each other. Once again, thank you for your support and understanding.

Wear a mask/face covering at all times.
Within the common areas of the community except where exemptions apply under municipal and provincial guidelines (i.e. medical exemptions).
If you feel ill, please stay home.
Please do not visit any common areas i.e. mailroom, laundry room, etc.
Follow social distancing
Maintain a (6 ft. or 2 m) distance apart wherever possible.
When taking the elevator
Please follow posted guidelines and limit the number of riders to 2 people or one family. We ask that residents are respectful of each other while waiting for and using the elevators for everyone’s comfort. If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, we ask that you please ride alone.
Remember to wash AND sanitize your hands frequently
Each property has been equipped with sanitizer stations at various locations throughout the common areas.

The safety of our community is our #1 priority

In the event that GWL Realty Advisors Residential is advised that a building resident, visitor or on-site employee has either been infected, or is under investigation for possible infection with COVID-19, we will post appropriate notices and communicate safety and risk mitigation practices.

Should an advisory be posted, it is being provided as a precautionary measure intended to protect the comfort and safety of our residents, visitors and employees, and to allows individuals to make informed decisions about the risk of potential COVID-19 transmission.

All common areas (e.g. elevator call buttons, handrails, door handles, and other touch surfaces) are regularly disinfected and Property Management continues with its increased and detailed cleaning regimen. Our on-site employees continue to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as gloves, according to existing policies and procedures.

We encourage you to continue to take appropriate measures to protect yourself including frequent handwashing, avoiding touching of the face, and to self exclude from meetings with others where you feel unwell.

Cleanliness in High Traffic Areas

We will continue to take a proactive approach to increasing sanitization in all high traffic and common touch areas of our properties.

Hand Sanitizer Dispensers

We have installed extra hand sanitizer stations throughout our buildings with an emphasis on common and high-use areas.

Safe reopening of Building Amenities

In response to the governments plan to gradually lift public health measures, we are pleased to announce that all amenity facilities across the country will be reopened with some restrictions.

We ask residents to respect capacity limits of building amenities, which may be less than provincial gathering limits. In some cases, residents may have to book a timeslot for certain high-use areas.

Visitors to our communities

We have posted signage at all entrances asking visitors to give thought to their need to enter the community if they have recently travelled to a COVID-19 high risk area; been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19; or who feel unwell in any way, Please note these are simply precautionary measures to ensure the continued comfort and safety of our residents, their visitors and our employees.

Maintenance in Your Home

We are making changes to the way we provide maintenance service in your suite. We take pride in taking care of your maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner and we want to uphold our diligent service throughout the pandemic. Before conducting maintenance in your home, we ask you to consider the following:

Have you recently travelled to a COVID-19 high risk area?

Have you been in close contact with a person who has recently travelled to a COVID-19 high risk area?

Have you recently been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?

Do you feel unwell (cough, fever, difficulty breathing)?


If you answer YES to any of the points above, we will be taking extra steps to ensure that you and our team are protected.

This might require the attendance of an external contractor. In the case that special ordered parts are required to complete the repair, we will advise you of the expected time frame for completion of work.

We would like to advise residents that our maintenance request volume is currently higher than usual due to the number of residents staying at home. As a result our maintenance staff will be handling maintenance requests based on urgency. These decisions will be made on a discretionary basis.

Even as the pandemic subsides, we must all play our part and remain vigilant to ensure everyone's safety at our communities.
