Rental Assistance Program
The topic of rent assistance is top-of-mind at all levels of government. We are actively participating in conversations with industry associations and government officials to find ways to access the aid to those that need it most.

In the meantime, there are a number of steps we’re taking to help those residents that need support immediately and/or may require it in the future.

Immediate Access
For those who have suffered job loss or reduced hours and are concerned about their ability to cover April’s rent, we have set up a dedicated team who are available to quickly assess your situation and provide support and assistance. An online form is available on our website and through e-mail at: helpingyou@gwlra.com. Completing and submitting the form will allows us to quickly assess your situation and provide the right level of support and advice.

Future Assistance
For those who have not experienced financial hardship but may be concerned about their future ability to pay rent, we encourage you to apply for the various level of government assistance programs available today.

Staying Connected to our Community
Our commitment continues to be your health and safety. We have dedicated financial and human resources to ensure our buildings are properly equipped and staffed during this current situation. Our online resource centre will be regularly updated with timely and relevant information. We also encourage residents to stay connected and share their questions/concerns with our team members.

Doing Your Part
We’re all in this together. In addition to following the direction of government and public health officials, we’re asking those residents who are can, to continue to pay their rent. Your rent payments allow us to keep our buildings operating and our staff working to serve your needs during these challenging times.
